We now have 300 liter (about 75gal) of almost boiling temperatur water in our storage tank on our roof.

What is next and how do we take advantage of this abundance of hot water? After we from EcuaSolar have completed  delivery and installation of the EcuaSolar system on your roof, we can now make the connection to the plumbing system of your house.

What is it what we do at this point?

Essentially we are running a coldwater line from your supply (your cistern? citywater?) to the roof to connect it with the EcuaSolar system.

There could be special circumstances that need special attention: If you have a gravity feed coldwater system (Water tank on the roof) and the elevation of the watertank would be lower than the Ecuasolar System, a small pump has to be installed to supply cold water to the EcuaSolar system. We would install such a pump for you without charging extra for the labor but will charge you our cost for the extra supplies.

Should you desire higher pressure with your hot water supply, or the location of the EcuaSolar system requires it, an optional pump can be installed in the hot-water-line. We would install such a pump for you without charging extra for the labor but will charge you our cost for the extra supplies.

Typical plumbing

gravity fed (no extra pressure)

Optional plumbing

added pump and pressure tank for extra pressure
